HILLIARD DARBY HIGH SCHOOL

 

RENAISSANCE PROGRAM

 

Students can achieve significant and meaningful privileges

as a result of attaining/maintaining specific levels of

achievements in academics and behavior.

Students may earn a White Panther Pride Card or a

Blue Panther Pride Card.  Card privileges are nontransferable. 

 

WHITE PANTHER PRIDE CARD:

  • 4.0 or above G.P.A. (based on semester average grades)
  • No disciplinary referrals (per semester) 

 

WHITE PANTHER PRIDE CARD BENEFITS:

  • All school dances free (Prom not included)
  • Free admissions to home athletic events
  • 10% discount in school store
  • Honor ribbons/stickers each grading period
  • Free parking for the next semester
  • One free admission to school plays (1 free admission per play)
  • Continental breakfast (each semester)
  • Exempt two exams, if student maintains White Card GPA (4.0 or above) for 1st nine weeks for semester exam exemptions and 3rd nine weeks for final exam exemptions.  (Student must have a C or better grade for 2nd or 4th nine weeks in the classes they wish to exempt.)  SENIORS WHO EXEMPT EXAMS IN FULL YEAR COURSES AT THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER MUST TAKE FINAL EXAMS IN THOSE CLASSES AT THE END OF THE YEAR.  A Student may NOT exempt the same course exam twice in the same school year. 

 

BLUE PANTHER PRIDE CARD:

  • 3.25 – 3.99 G.P.A. (based upon semester  average grades)
  • No disciplinary referrals (per semester)

BLUE PANTHER PRIDE CARD BENEFITS:

  • 50% off school dances (Prom not included)
  • Home athletic events – $1.00 (each event)
  • 10% discount in school store
  • Honor ribbons/stickers each grading period
  • 50% off parking for the next semester
  • School plays (One $1.00 admission each play)
  • Continental breakfast (each semester)

VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF THIS PHILOSOPHY WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE REVOCATION OF THE CARD AND ALL INHERENT PRIVILEGES THEREOF ON THE FIRST OFFENSE.
